PROTOGONOS est un groupe formé à Reims en 2016, qui tire ses influences de l’essence de la scène Metalcore tel qu’As I lay dying,
Miss May I, Bring me the Horizon ou encore The Devil Wears Prada.
Il propose un son énergique, puissant, et progressif tout en marquant son empreinte par un répertoire d’une grande richesse
mélodique, dans lequel s’alternent unevoix brutale, empruntée au registre Death, et une autre clairequi vient appuyer le contraste mélodique.

Lancé sur la scènepar son premier EP « Ex Nihilo », sorti le 31 Décembre 2017, PROTOGONOS n’a cessé de
construire son avenir aboutissant à la parution de son premier album “From Chaos to Ashes” 2 ans plus tard, en Janvier 2020.

Rapidement interrompue par la situation sanitaire, la promotion de cet album a laissé place à une nouvelle phase de création,
motivée par unefrustration revencharde et la volonté de prouver qu’il mérite saplace au sein de la scene française.

Silent Oppressor sortira le 30 Septembre 2022 et sera présenté pour la première fois lors de son passage remarquée
sur la scène du prestigieux festival du CABARET VERT.

Pour fêter l’anniversaire de la sortie de son dernier né, PROTOGONOS en présente aujourd’huiune version DELUXE.

PROTOGONOS is a group formed in Reims in 2016, drawing influences from the essence of the Metalcore scene such
as As I Lay Dying, Miss May I, Bring Me the Horizon, and The Devil Wears Prada.
They offer an energetic, powerful, and progressive sound while leaving their mark with a repertoire of great melodic
richness, in which a brutal voice, borrowed from the Death register, alternates with another clear voice that reinforces the melodic contrast.

Launched onto the scene by its debut EP "Ex Nihilo," released on December 31, 2017, PROTOGONOS has
continued to build its future, culminating in the release of its first album "From Chaos to Ashes" two years later, in January 2020.

Quickly interrupted by the health situation, the promotion of this album gave way to a new phase of creation,
motivated by a vindictive frustration and the desire to prove that it deserves its place within the French scene.

"Silent Oppressor" will be released on September 30, 2022, and will be presented for the first time during its remarkable appearance at the prestigious CABARET VERT festival.

To celebrate the anniversary of the release of its latest creation, PROTOGONOS today presents a DELUXE Edition.
